Natural sauna

At our thermal centre there are two natural stoves, heated by the underlying thermal waters.
The inner temperature is about 53°C. it is a place with a high saturation of vapour which contains vaporized mineral salts.

In the natural stoves the therapeutic action (antrotherapy) depends on the presence of hot thermal waters and of  outpourings of vapours coming from active volcanic phenomena (we are actually in the area of the famous burning Fields )

Inside the stoves a particular microclimate is created, due to the combining of several factors (water temperature and its chemical composition, humidity level, air ionization degree)


The high saturation of vapour rich in mineral salts facilitates the fluidification  of stagnant mucus and enables to solve tiresome problems such as chronic rhinitis and sinusitis. ( But beware for the asthmatic, vapour can have an irritating effect!)

The stove facilitates a copious sweating favouring water replacement and at the same time exerts a vascular gymnastic which prevents arteriosclerosis improving the functioning of circulatory system.
